Carol was great; she cut out the legal jargon and said ‘this is what the judge will say’. She made it absolutely fair on both sides.

I heard about Divorce Negotiator on LBC and thought ‘ahaa’. Both parties were sorting out the financials, pensions and properties through mediation then to agreement in principle.

It was fairly amicable. During our meetings with Carol, she really helped with all matters of correspondence, phone or email

I saw Carol early in the process. She took us through exactly what the courts would say. She helped us to maintain strong relationships with the children. I had to be sure my wife’s reasons for things were valid. Once she’d made a decision, emotions were running high.  We were married for 12 years and together for 18 so it was big deal for me. I thought I’d done my best as a husband and a father. We’d thought of using Relate or a Counsellor but my wife wouldn’t go that route.

She wasn’t willing to work it out.

I’d made some good financial decisions. I’d bought two properties so we were able to work with those.

With the solicitors we’d talked to it certainly seemed like it was going to be long process. We’d heard £500 an hour fee stories.

The child support route has already been recommended.

Carol was great. She made it really clear; she cut out the legal jargon and said, ‘This is what the judge will say.’ She made it absolutely fair on both sides. No favouritism. That is a skill in itself!

Carol was always easy to contact. 1-2 hours maximum response time. She was accurate with her costs and we got through the divorce really easily. We’re glad we went the Divorce Negotiator route.
